Sant Antoni

Sant Antoni grew around its colossal market, restored and reopened with the neighborhood on top of it: brunch spots, natural wine bars and the Sunday morning when the streets around the market fill with book stalls.

The market reopened

The huge nineteenth-century iron hall was restored into the neighborhood's living room: produce inside, tapas on the perimeter, and the surrounding streets pedestrianized on Sundays for the old book and coin fair.

Brunch and wine belt

The district claims a fair share of the city's brunch scene and its natural-wine bars, in the blocks between the market and the Paral·lel. Weekends are local-busy, not tourist-busy.

Position

It touches the Raval, Montjuïc and the Eixample's edge: a rational base that reaches everything without living inside any of it. Metro lines on two sides, the Fira and the Parallel theaters a stroll away.
